The weather was teeth-chattering cold during New York Fashion Week. Snowfall had not let up, but only got worse as fashion goers climbed over mountains of snow and puddles of slush to get to shows. Some were seen wearing open-toe sandals and dresses sans tights, an absolute insane logic to even go through with ensembles like that. I insisted they weren’t from New York. Others layered leather biker jackets under wool coats, wore floor-length furs, and cozy shearlings. Note the fabulous orange and pink fur toted by Susie Bubble, and Shaun Ross’ badass hand painted motorcycle jacket. Winter weather makes it almost impossible to look chic bundled under various coverings, but these fashion freaks show us how it’s done.
