UPDATE: As of November 2018, I no longer smoke JUUL. Click here to watch my interview with CNN.

In an attempt to be fully transparent with you, I admit that I am an occasional smoker. It began several years ago and continued for a year, subsequently. I found myself weary of what became ritualistic behavior and didn’t smoke for a while. And having a cigarette, here and there, made me believe I wasn’t a true smoker. However, dating a smoker a few years later didn’t help my habit. I somehow managed to chill on the smoking for three-years until I picked up again, last month. As I found myself turning to cigarettes again, I realized it was not an ideal situation.
For the first time, I found myself struggling to quit. I saw that my best friend had been smoking this new device (which looks like a super slim USB), so I tried it. I loved it so much; I ordered a starter kit of my own. I was stoked that I could ease out of smoking with this chic-looking vaporizer. It’s true, I get overwhelmed just like anyone else and now I can let off some steam (or vapor in this case) with JUUL.
It’s a fantastic alternative to smoking real cigarettes. I don’t smell like an ashtray anymore; I hated the smell of cigarettes on my breath, hair and hands. My non-smoker friends really prefer it. I also get a lot of attention when JUUL is in my hand. People are always so curious about the sleek design. What’s more, I don’t find myself wanting a cigarette at all after experiencing JUUL. I can puff on my e-cig once, and then slip it into my purse easily.
The best part about JUUL is, it comes in a few fab flavors like Mango, Mint (my fave), Creme Brûlée, Fruit Medley and more. For me, this is great because I am never bored. Normal cigarettes would leave an awful aftertaste, so kissing post-smoke is not an option. I don’t have that problem anymore. I also don’t have to worry about carrying around a bulky box of cigs, which always took up so much room in my bag. The verdict is in, and I gotta say, I love my JUUL.
