Can you believe a whole month has come between us? Well, life and summer have actually taken me away from my blogging duties. It is so easy to get distracted when the weather is beautiful and the beach keeps calling your name. On the bright side, I get to report on how I’ve been keeping it cool for the summer. As most of you may know, I’m a native New Yorker, and spend most of my summers in the city. Dressing on super hot days typically poses a challenge for me: How does one remain chic while sweaty? The answer is, always chose the right fabrics. For this look, I opted for an open knit by Reformation. It’s slightly cropped, breathable and most importantly, sleeveless! There’s always the option to go braless (if you’re feeling frisky). #FreeTheNipple
Also, when it’s over 90 degrees, the last thing I want are clothes stuck to my body. Loose-fitting shorts will be your new BFF. They look and feel cool, plus they allow for ventilation. These vintage cut-off shorts (similar) are from Reformation as well. If you didn’t already know, it’s my favorite NYC boutique! And for accessories, I went with a gorgeous blush bag from Polène, and a pair of easy espadrilles from Viscata. Both were gifted to me recently, and have quickly become summer staples. I sometimes even pack my swimsuit in this roomy bag, just in case it’s that kinda day! I really hope you enjoyed this look, and stay tuned for another fun post on Wednesday. Thank you so much for stopping by! P.S. You can shop my entire outfit, below.
