If I can show you anything, it’s how to style a basic t-shirt. Ever since I began body modification, I scaled my style back. The more ink I got, the more I relied on my tattoos to do the talking. White, grey, and black t-shirts became my uniform, in addition to worn-in denim. This ensemble is precisely what I mean. The bones of this look are merely a white tee and cut-off shorts. I threw on a polka-dot shirt I thought I’d never wear, along with a few polished pieces.
To make this look fun, I added a purple cream lip stain I received from my partnership with Sephora. Bill (of Bill and Ted), my beetle brooch, accompanied me for an additional jolt of color. Oh, and I got beat up from my cat the night prior, so I left on two Ninja Turtle bandaids, because no look is complete without TMNT decor. Am I right? Mixing high and low items are the key ingredients in my personal style. For me, it shows what someone can really do with their skills. It’s one thing to be dressed in all designer, but what can you do with a basic tee?
